More American Novel

I was planning on finishing the chapter I had been writing while I was away from home, but I had some late nights (working, not partying) and was too tired to add more than a page. I will need to get a little busier if I want to get this novel finished. I will need to improve my work ethic and stay on task, but it's hard when you have so many jobs that you need to establish a high work ethic for, primary job, home maintenance, home improvement, auto restoration, novel writing. It takes so much time...

I have spent a lot of years doing a lot of different things and never really considered myself a writer of novels until a was halfway through college (graduated in 2006, age 55). I received praise from my teachers for my essays and even published an article in the school paper but didn't really think about writing fiction seriously.
