While I was writing this past week, one of the characters in the book surprised me by taking charge. I was writing a boring segment that involved him and he decided he didn’t want to be bored or boring so he started his own storyline. Novel Progress

As I set here preparing to give my latest update on my novel progress, I can’t help wondering if anyone has been reading any of these. I have been telling my friends how I am beginning a new career in writing and I have received only one comment to date. After sharing this adventure with my friends, I realize that I have not even told my family about my novel (except my wife who helps with my typing and my 35 year old daughter who probably forgot about it). More Novel Info

As promised, I am keeping my friends updated on my progress.

I think it was a good decision to share my 'project' with my Pads friends because it has forced me to keep applying myself to produce. I have been writing more since I started this blog and it has paid off. My writing has improved and I am putting more content into the book than I did in the begining and the first rewrite will increase the content of the first half of the book.

I have almost filled a 70 page...

hi everybody as you may know im name is SPC eugene allen Edwards im 20yrs but the only reason why i joined the army was because my father was in the army my oldest brother is in the army my dads name is harold edwards and my oldest brothers name is jason chad edwards my oldest sister was in the navel so i come from a big military background but right now im in school for 63B school and my PRmos is 88M but any who if you have any good info on how to my the army the best that i can please let me thanks...

McCain is a dead chicken, in my opinion.

When I was a youngster, my Mom and Grandmother always had a chicken pen with chickens in it. It was not uncommon for Granny to go out, chase a chicken down, grab it by the neck, give it a few hearty twists and then pop the chicken's head off. The chicken, would flop around on the ground, spewing blood, until it died. Then Granny would pluck, clean, and fix the chicken for dinner.

McLame reminds me of those chickens, flopping around, deader that a hammer, but not really knowing it...
