| unrepentant grunt ![]() | Last week I was driving and the Oil Pressure Gauge went haywire in Moose my 2004 Silverado I took it to the Dealer and informed them of the problem. It seems that there have been a number of Gauge problems with Chevy P/U. Anywho they replaced the entire instrument panel at no charge to me. If you have any problems with your gauges, I suggest you contact your Dealer. I dont know how far back in model years this goes back but check anyway.

| unrepentant grunt ![]() | I dont know Coop I am a convert I owned Fords for 30 years. I went to Chevy as a test and have never looked back. This is my 2nd Chevy P/U and it does everything I need it to do and it does it well. I also enjoy the ride as does Momma. Ford has always been a rough ride you get used to it. But Chevy I must admit is a joy on long trips you feel like you are not fighting the road. You just cruise along.

| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | Have an '89 Cheyenne. 5 speed with about 67-68000 miles. Had to have a short block at 32000. Looks like hell but still runs pretty good. MommaBear doesn't like the stiff and deep clutch. Air Conditioner problems once about 4 or 5 years ago and the shift plate broke once, cost 75 bucks to have replaced. Been a pretty fair truck. I bought it because I thought the Fords that year looked like hell. Almost bought a new Tundra 3 years ago. Talk about a great ride. The Tundra is hands down better than any Pickemup I've ever ridden in. I'll keep my Cheby for a few more years, thanks.
