Mr Hipso

You focus on a peripheral issues while ignoring the central plank o
the rant. Common courtesy is exceedingly rare on roads nowaday
(unless it is courtesy accorded by one crimminal speeder to another
If I may add)

My driving habits are as follows

- NEVER exceed speed limit. be it 15, 25, 30, 55 or 75. If speed limi
is 15 and in a down slope my car is exceeding 15, I brake
- ALWAYS come to a full stop at all stop signs, even if there are n
other cars aroun
- A blinking red is a stop sign. see above
- Never cross solid lines or cross hatched area
- Religiously follow "no turn on red", "no left turn". "no U turn"
"no left between time X and time Y", "only right turn from thi
lane", etc

I get dissed all the time. Where is the courtesy

Ah, there's a concept: BREAK THE LAW BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE IS... Hey
if they can do it so can I.

"moving roadblocks" by non-law enforcement people is against the la
in most states. So is slowing to a crawl because you "FEEL" some on
is tailgating. Let'em tailgate, and if there is an accident then yu
can retire on the insurance claim since they are at fault. Slowing t
a crawl is more likely to KILL some innocent person further back wh
isn't involved at all.

Tom M at cartalk should have better sense, but then again, he ha
proved he doesn't.

He's a radio show. He makes his living with that show, and will d
anythign to promote his show and make more people listen. Even i
wha
he proposes can (and will) kill someone. Better kill someone than no
make enough money on the show.

Tom M: any response on your moronic suggestions?

(all I hear is quiet...)

What can anyone say....except getting behind you will make me late for
work... BUT on the other hand I am not putting myself in danger (of
being shot) like you are...
