Default dropped spindles for ’88?

I’ve an ’88 gt/stick I’d like to lower correctly. Does anyone know if
dropped spindles are available? And what about the ’correct’ way to
lower the rear? I’m thinking 1 to 2" But I want a factory ride (as
much as possible) Thanks for your time and knowledge. dudevato in

www.rodneydickman.com offers front lower balljoints that drop the front
of the car 1". Don't know if that'd be enough drop for your tastes, but
it's a lot more affordable than drop spindles.

Just a thought...

Patrick, Thanks for the suggestion. I saw the product on the site and
will get in touch with them. dudevato

You're very welcome - I have a set ready to go on my Formula, just
haven't done it yet. But soon...

Patrick, I looked at the Rodney Dickman site, but I didn’t see anyway
to get in touch with them. Do these lowering balljoints let the
frontend be aligned properly, to factory specs? Thanks

When you find the item you want, click on 'Add to Cart'. When you're
done shopping, click on the 'Checkout' button in the top left corner.
Or e-mail rodney1@execpc.com or call (262)835-9575 - both are listed on
the 'Order' page.

I'm not an engineer, so I don't know the various degrees worth of
difference made to the suspension geometry by these, but I sincerely
doubt they add enough difference to prevent proper alignment. I feel
certain that Rodney would have taken that into account during the
design of them and before he offered them publicly.

:-)
