Default Fiero clutch probs

I've got an 88 coupe. Four years ago I replaced both master and slave
clutch cylinders. I put in the type 2 master (the tank is in the
middle). I am wandering if it's possible that I put in the wrong
master slave combination? I understand there is a different slave as
well. I have to step on my tip-toes and push the pedal to the floor
to get it to disengage. I've bled it several times including pushing
the slave actuator in to remove all the air. I had parked it right
after replacing these parts, and just recently fired it up and painted
it. I sure would like some more pedal travel...my toes are cramping
up! Any thoughts?

You might have the wrong slave - a LOT of the parts books out there are
wrong. You need the 13/16" diameter (piston, not casing!) slave. A lot of
books were saying to use a 15/16" one.

(this is for all 4cyl cars w/the 5spd)
