Daewoo Lanos 2001 (stick)

Hi,

My Lanos suddenly started jerking unexplainably while shifting gears,
all gears. And when i try to give it more gas, the car doesn’t
accelerate nor do i hear the engine revving up even as i push the gas
pedal all the way down. This happens even on first gear. When i relax
my foot off the gas, and kind of fiddle with the pressure i put on it,
the car suddenly responds.
I don’t know if i am explaining the problem very well, but it’s hard
to describe. The problem occured suddenly while i was on the highway,
decelerating to make a turn.
The jerkiness is the same feeling you would get if you released your
foot off of the clutch too fast; not giving the car enough gas.
Any help anyone can offer me would be greatly appreciated.
