Default '96 Chevy Lumina

I have replaced the ignition module on this vehicle once last November when
the car would not start in a no spark condition after the first cold snap of
the winter season. With tax, this module cost over $200. Again this
morning with temperatures dipping back down into the 20s, the same thing
happened. I warmed the module up with a blow dryer for about five minutes
and the car started right up. When this module becomes intermittant, no
fault codes are set. Has anyone else seen this problem with these
distributorless ignition systems? This car has a 3.1 liter engine in it.
Before this, I had a Chevy Celebrity that had the same type ignition system
and I had to replace that one twice.

Try a different vendor. Lots of sh*tty parts out there being sold. I'd
stay with a Delco unit.
