Gas expense 97 Blazer

While not as momentous as Harry's 300,000 miles, I though I might
share this. 1997 Blazer, New in June 1997. 4.3L v6, 4 spd auto, 2
door, 2 wheel drive, moderate trim (A/C, cloth seats, PS, PB, manual
windows). The a/c runs much of the year, even in winter here.

Most of the driving is City, 8-10 miles to and from work. There are
some trips, 200 miles or so. It's made one long trip to NY state from
TX, and got 23.5 on that trip, fully loaded with 3 adults and all the
gear we could stuff in. Most of the time, just one person, and a
permanent cargo of about 120 pounds.
