91 Geo Metro stalling problems

I drive and it stops running, usually at idle. But has quit at 25+.
Sometimes will start after grinding on it. Found that will start and run
for several miles with no problem if I prime the throttle body with fuel.
Any ideas.

Try changing your fuel filter(s).
