| Civilians | Have an '87 4 cyl auto that I got 6 weeks ago. Had the cooling system flushed twice as well as the overflow since there was motor oil in the overflow & an oil foam near the thermostat. There is no water in the oil only oil in the water. Engine runs real good & smooth. Any ideas??? |

| Civilians | Probably a small head gasket (or other) leak. Since you have 15psi in the water, and 20-60psi in the oil.... it can only go in one direction. Also, you could have a leaky tranny cooler tank in the rad (are you dead sure it's motor oil you're finding in the water???) If that's the case, just use and external tranny cooler.
