Default fan not working

I know my raidiator fan isnt turning on, and I know I am supposed to check
out the wire by grounding it, and yada, yada, yada... here's the problem...
where is the wire?

does anyone have an 86 duke engine diagram they wouldnt mind sending me?

any help would be appreciated...

also a fuse diagram for the 86 would be great... I am having headlight and
gauge problems as well, and I cant rule out a fuse problem, cause I cant
read the box...

Thanks Guys,

Peter

Default Re: fan not working

The fan switch will be on the head at one end or the other, and
will have one wire going to it. The connector will be oval looking,
and you squeeze the two long sides together to release it from
the sender. Once released, stick a piece of wire up inside the
connector and ground it to the engine block or head with the key
on, the fan should run. If it doesn't, turn on the A/C (the engine
does not have to be running for this test) if you have it and
the fan should come on regardless of the temperature. If it fails
both of these tests then either the fan is bad or the relay is
bad. Find and disconnect the fan connector and apply 12 volts to
it, if the fan works then replace the relay. If not then replace
the fan.
