| Civilians | It's called either: An Air charge temperature sensor, Inlet Air temperature sensor. It's in the book under one those names, or something close. | Civilians | The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is in the intake manifold on the L4 cars. The only sensor attached to the air filter housing is the MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure) and it is critical to the engine running right. The MAP sensor has a 4-wire connector, the IAT sensor has a two wire connector. | Civilians | Sounds like it's about time to check: The timing chain or gears, pull the rocker cover, see if any push rods pushed through the rocker arms, or if the rocker arm wore and is lose. Get back to me, you'll need a book to check the cam gear or timing chain alignment. Refinish King PS Have you checked for a blocked catalytic converter?
