![]() | From the second race that I saw Little E run I knew he was going to be one of NASCARS legends. He has the talent, the charisma, the attitude, and the look. So when I first heard he was leaving DEI I was upset, both at him and at Teresa. But after looking over his last 2 years and the troubles he had, I saw this as his breakthrough opportunity. All he had to do was team up with the right team. At first I thought he should hook up with Joe Gibbs. Not because Gibbs Racing is one of the best, but mainly due to how well he and Tony "Smoke" Stewart race together. Granted at DEI Little E raced very well with both Truex Jr and Michael Waltrip, but he just seemed to be a little bit better when racing with Smoke. So fast forward to the 2008 season. First official NASCAR race is the Budweiser shoot out. Lo and behold the winner is none other than Little E, who up until this year was sponsored by Bud. Then to prove that his first ever race with a Hendrick car was not a fluke, Dale Jr won his 2nd race in a row. Now if you look back (I'll do the looking for ya ) at my posts in this forum you will see a prediction I had made.NASCAR's race to the chase! Quote:

| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | So basically what your saying is: The kid landed in the richest camp in the league. They have most of the ethically challenged crew-chiefs in the league. AND, the owner faked a medical condition that he should have been buried from three years ago to keep from going to jail for fraud, embezzlement and who knows what else who was also pardoned by the president who had female issues while in office who's wife is now running for president. Wow, what a story you can weave.

![]() | Ummm yea ok.... Yes Chad Knaus is a dip**** that should be baned for life. Umm I don't remember much about Gordon's crew chief. I don't know about any of your accusations regarding Hendrick (like I said I never liked them in the past) so whatever. |

| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | So you are the whatever generation then? One of my favorite's. I'm sure you could find much more if you really wanted to see what the kid has landed in, and it ain't roses! Copied and pasted from the net. "In 1997, Hendrick pleaded guilty to mail fraud. In the 1980s, Honda automobiles were in high demand, and Honda executives allegedly solicited bribes from dealers for larger product disbursements. Hendrick admitted to giving hundreds of thousands of dollars, BMW automobiles, and houses to American Honda Motor Company executives. Hendrick was sentenced in December of that year to a $250,000 fine, 12 months home confinement (instead of prison, due to his leukemia), three years probation, and to have no involvement with Hendrick Automotive Group or Hendrick Motorsports during his year of confinement. In December 2000, Hendrick received a full pardon from President Bill Clinton". There is more, but like you say, whatever.

| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | So you are a junior fan without the history of the hendricks camp, eh? Fair enough. But just stow that in your kit bag. A lot of fans very much so dislike RH, that is a reason why there are so many anti-Gordon camps. As you can tell I'm not a junior fan, nor a anything hendricks fan, so it's all null to me. I only watched the pre-race and the last 10 laps yesterday, due to all of NASCARs antics of late. I no longer have a driver since his team switched to yoda's for this season. However, it was GREAT listening to DW hollering about a yoda shootout on the back stretch, then here comes the young guns of the Penske team, Dodge goes 1 - 2, yoda places somewhere, and junior in the only top 10 bowtie at 9th. SAD!
