The problem I see is that NASCAR teams have (and that is in the past pretence) been able to explore new possibilities, designs and manipulations of cassis and engine performance, that is what makes it COMPETITION. Now, exploration of what isn't written in NASCAR's already vague rulings seems to be now off limits. Period. I said this when the COT car concept was brought to light; No one wants NASCAR to be IROC, identical cars with zero tweakage. Total BS
