Default Earnhardt Jr. wins Busch Series race at Michigan

Dale Earnhardt Jr. spun Carl Edwards with two laps to go and went on to win the Carfax 250 Busch Series race Saturday at Michigan.
Edwards, who took the lead on a three-wide pass with seven laps to go, was trying to hold off Earnhardt and Robby Gordon on a green-white-checkered finish.
But when Edwards' car got loose, Earnhardt tapped the rear bumper and Edwards went spinning.
NASCAR reviewed the results for several minutes following the race, but declared Earnhardt the winner despite a request from Edwards to have him black-flagged.
Gordon, Earnhardt and Edwards went three-wide for the lead when Kurt Busch touched Denny Hamlin coming out of Turn 4 and spun to bring out the seventh caution with seven to go.
Edwards was declared the leader as he edged past the two when the flag flew. Gordon was second.
Edwards pulled away when the race restarted with five laps to go, but when Todd Kluever ran out of gas the final caution came out to set up the wild finish.
Casey Mears wound up getting around Gordon to finish second. Matt Kenseth and polesitter Mark Martin completed the top five.
Points leader Kevin Harvick finished eighth, his eighth consecutive top-10, and extended his lead in the points to 484 over new second-place man, Denny Hamlin.
The race had nine cautions, but five came within 50 laps of the start of the race.
