Default Great setup Loomis....

You're really doing your homework buddy.
Must be great having a lifelong job working on the 24 team.
No pressure for you to perform at all.
You only have to depend on the driver and pit crew to make up for your lack
of setup skills. :-(

I certainly don't hold Gordon above any responsibility with regard to the
team's status, but I think that comment reflects more on Robbie than on
Jeff. It's not the driver's job to tell the crew chief what the cars needs
to have done to it - it's the crew chief's job to know that based on what
the driver tells him the car is doing. I think the issue Gordon's talking
about here is that Robbie can't figure out what to do based on what he hears
from Gordon.

True, but it is the drivers job to tell the CC what the car is doing,
something princess jeffy seems to be unable to do according to jeffy
himself.

communication is a two way street ~ both parties have to do it
effectively... If Gordon doesn't feel that Loomis can figure out what
to do based on what he hears from him, then Gordon needs to figure out
a different way to say it.

Oops, I was thinking of a trivia question from waaaaaay
back....Something about who was the only driver with 10 consecutive
top-10 points finishes in the 90's....I think the choices were Dale Sr,
JG, MM, and Terry LaBonte.

I still think JG will finish in the top 10 this yr, especially with
Bristol coming up this wk.

Sorry i couldn't figure out who made the 'Princess Jeffy' comment,
but once again i must agree with 'the real Princess' Julia.
Loomis is such a nice guy & still so in awe of The Greatest-JG,
that he won't override the comparative know-nothing driver
to make the necessary changes.
Who knows what THE problem is?
My best guess is Loomis will not be JG's CC in '06.
