| Civilians | The 9 CC and those of the 9 team who went to the 20 pit should be suspended. KK seemed to be the only one of the bunch to have held a cool head about it. Only 20 and 9 know what happened and I think 20 stated it correctly in his post race interval, the 9 checked up whether missing a gear, or shifting a gear, or just not having a good set of tires and losing traction. No way the 20 could react fast enough to avoid the incident, thats racing. Set the next race out team 9 CC and pit crew. The 9 car can race, just not with the CC and pit crew. |

| Civilians | I just got to watch Inside Nextel Cup. The overheads show #9 keeping door-to-door with #15 on the inside of him. If #9 was checking, it was only by the tiniest degree. #20 would have run over any one in the front rows with the run he had going. If Kasey missed a shift, then that probably sealed the deal, but still, Tony was going at it way to hard considering it was a mid-race restart. IMHO, YMMV. --AceyMan On Mon, 12 Jul 2004 05:44:58 -0700, "20 car" <nobody@home.com> wrote: > >"mbox204" <noisp94@yahoo.com> wrote in message >news:c_sIc.3117$sV2.2729@newsread2.news.atl.earth link.net... >> The 9 CC and those of the 9 team who went to the 20 pit should be >suspended. >> KK seemed to be the only one of the bunch to have held a cool head about >it. >> Only 20 and 9 know what happened and I think 20 stated it correctly in his >> post race interval, the 9 checked up whether missing a gear, or shifting a >> gear, or just not having a good set of tires and losing traction. Tony was going to blast whomever was in front, and now deserves a suspension. Here's hoping NASCAR sees the same angle and takes action. Not expecting, just hoping. |
