Um, no. New modern era record. The all time record is
80-something races, set back in the 60s.

Except that is not the fact in Harvick's case. I understand what you
are talking about but you will find that Harvick finished on the lead
lap in most of the races and no more than a lap or two down in the
few that he didn't....

It also says quite a bit about RCR engines...

Harvick has not had a lot of great finishes lately. But he is always
in the 10-25 spot, which is why he currently 8th in points.

That's true. I checked the records, and he has finished at least 95% of
the race distance in every race in that span.

Yep, the reliability is sensational.

Actually he was not on the lead lap in nearly half those races,
half of those were more than two laps down..

Jimmie Johnson failed to finish on the lead lap only 11 times
in the same time frame.
I'd rather have that stat...
