The 8 team had it at the beginning of the season earning 3 wins, now it's the 24 and 48, sharing 5(?) wins. It's the nature of the beast we call NASCAR. In the next couple of weeks it could be Roush winning everything. As for Gordon, the next few weeks will tell if they're "back" or not. It seems Gordon and crew perform like the days of old for a few weeks, get a couple of wins, and then stumble for a bit. <cue Rappy telling me I'm f'ing nuts and that I'm living in an f'ing fantasy world> ----- Wheeler |

Not to mention Jr should have won Bristol and Martinsville. Imagine if he had five wins at this point, all the haters in here would be whining conspiracy.. Shock |

All crew chiefs do really. They say it is their jobs to find an advantage that is not in the rule book. Johnson's crew chief even said he would like to know how many new rules were made for him. Like I said - - how is the 48 car running any differently than it has since they put that team together? - how is the 24 car running any differently than you'd expect that car to run? Gordon strings a couple of wins together and it's something big? Hell, you haven't been watching long have you? - how is the 25 car running any differently than it has all year long? - how is the 5 car running any differently than it has for years? - finally, people on and off the track have always said there is something different about the way those Hendrick cars run. Of course they said that about the Roush cars for a while, the Yates cars, the Childress cars, the DEI cars... guess it must be true, huh? -- -Mike- mmarlowREMOVE@sprintmail.com |

What's more suspicious is Gordon only logging 2 wins in a row. -- -Mike- mmarlowREMOVE@sprintmail.com |
