| Civilians | They were 1st talking about Michael and how he might not be with DEI too much longer. That Michael had not been invited on the 4 wheeler junket that Dale Jr. and Truex, Jr. attended. Then, to throw more fuel on the fire, they said that Michael had shot before having the true information - that Rusty had lost his brakes. Funny how Rusty's brakes came back to him a little later. Sounds like Rusty was out there sort of like Ryan Newman - get out of the way everybody! GraveRobber_69 |

Um - Mikey's a forty-something married man. Earnhardt and Truex are young single dudes. Is it any wonder Mikey wasn't part of their junket? John |

Sorry, but there was an interview in the paper with Rusty post-race saying he had 1/4 of an inch of brake left but the brakes weren't there when he decided to run thru Mikey. And sure, he didn't go back into the race because he was too chicken to get out there with the piecemeal car that was left after he indulged his folly. He's just happy that he finally won another race and that has made his season. I don't expect we will be seeing much of Rusty the rest of the year for just that reason. so you were saying?????????????????????????????? GR_69 |
