Default Concerning Cautions

So I understand they are trying to make it safer on the track for workers
and pit crews, but why is there a 6 lap caution when there is a plastic bag
on the track. Pick up the bag and go back to green, what's with the parade
laps. I guess cautions are also a chance to get tires, but i'd rather see
green flag racing and even a green flag pitstop....but no one needed to pit
for gas, they just wanted new tires. sigh!!!!!!

that driver would get mowed over since the rest of the field pitted and had
fresh tires and he didn't. it would only be a matter of a few laps before
that team would have to pit inder green and go 2 laps or more down depending
on the track.

Yes, I don't understand the long caution for a plastic bag myself or for any
other insignificant piece of debris. Please somebody MUCH smarter explain
it to me.

I think thats a little extreme. However a tire limit like the Busch series
would keep them from pitting every 10 laps if the yellow does come out.

I would venture to guess it's money.....gotta keep hammering those
commercials at us. Bastards. I would definetly be in favor of not
counting yellows [remember the money weasels] in the last 50
laps.Myself,I'd rather not count them at all. But think of Bristol
w/out counting yellow laps....I'd gladly sit through it,but my kids
might kill me after 9 or so hours....
