| Enlisted Warrior ![]() | A while back when I was going through the stat sheets of WW2 tanks on some website, I came across a US tank that apparently would make the mammoth tank in the C&C series look like a joke. I have to say it was probably the most heavily armed tank ever built. The only problem is that I couldn't find much information about it and I don't remember what it was called. All I remember is that it was past the classification of 'heavy tank'. Could any tank experts help me find out about this mega tank?

| Dazed and Confused ![]() | Yep I also can't remember any true US Super Heavy from the WWII period, unless you refer to the folley that was the 95 ton T-28: ![]() The T-28 was quite similar in its design principle, except from the troublesome 4 track layout to the Brirish A39 Tortoise prototype. Both types being designed as VERY heavy assault/breakthorugh vehicles: ![]()
