Default WW2 Super Tank

A while back when I was going through the stat sheets of WW2 tanks on some website, I came across a US tank that apparently would make the mammoth tank in the C&C series look like a joke. I have to say it was probably the most heavily armed tank ever built. The only problem is that I couldn't find much information about it and I don't remember what it was called. All I remember is that it was past the classification of 'heavy tank'. Could any tank experts help me find out about this mega tank?

Dont know of any gargantuan US built tank, the only one that pops up in my mind is the German "Maus" wich weighs in at 188 tons. Its classed as a "Super Heavy Tank"

http://www.achtungpanzer.com/pz7.htm#maus

There was also a project called "Krupp P1000 Ratte" that was supposed to weigh 1000 tons, but it never made it to production.

Yep I also can't remember any true US Super Heavy from the WWII period, unless you refer to the folley that was the 95 ton T-28:

The T-28 was quite similar in its design principle, except from the troublesome 4 track layout to the Brirish A39 Tortoise prototype. Both types being designed as VERY heavy assault/breakthorugh vehicles:

No, those aren't them. The tank read about had multiple barrels and machine guns and was a US tank.

I'll see if I can't dig up some pics. It has been a long time since I was on the site, so it may take some time.

http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/Qu...5/g_tnkusa.htm

Medium Tank M3 "Lee"/"Grant"
Weight : 27.3 ton
Dimensions:5.64 x 2.72 x 3.12 mt
Armor (max) : 57 mm
Range : 193 km
Speed (max - route) : 42 km/hr
Main gun : 75 mm (hull)
Secondary gun : 37 mm (turret)
Crew : 6

This is more like what I am looking for, only I think the tank I read about had more guns and turrets.
