This is what we have been hoping for ever since removing Saddam, and yes we should withdraw. I feel that if the Iraqi officials wish to take responsibility than we should oblige. Just like a child that reaches a certain age, they should be allowed to take the reigns and move forward, even if mistakes are made. The biggest problem is, how long before we will it be before we have to go back in and clean-up a mess that they make? If we choose to go back at all. As for removing the Chapter 7 status "NO", time will tell the tale. With all the threats in the region and fanatical influence of certain groups in Iraq the Chapter 7 status is valid, and will probably always remain valid.
