I've got about 300 pieces of rolling stock in HO, plus scenery. Unfortunately, I don't have enough room to put up a layout. My wife & I are thinking about either adding on to our house (an area for her quilting & another for the trains - she likes them too), or building a seperate building for the purpose. Of course, the cats would have to be banned from the room, they behave like Godzilla in Tokyo.
