I remember a few years ago a couple, I think from Germany, who were driving a rental car which must have been obvious, and were hi-jacked in FL. At least one of them was killed. There have been other incidences of our home-grown criminals causing trouble for tourists. Isn't it bad enough that we have to be afraid of going to certain areas? In the city I live in, there have been way too many killings this summer, in a certain area. Yet, cities keep cutting back on law-enforcement officers. Maybe we need a National Guard unit at each corner, which, of course, is Martial Law.
