You posted to a public service on a newserver which had permission to
distribute that post. By comparison, its as if you pinned a flyer on a
lightpole in your town then got mad because a picture of it appeared in
the paper without your permission
Now if it had been a "local newsgroup" only meant for use by a limited
access group, which many are, then you would have a case. Not against
Google but you would against uswest. But you cannot post to a public
newsgroup then get mad about where it ends up. Your post is available,
and readable, by hundreds of thousands of servers all over the world.
Thats what newsgroups are. You just happened to find it thru Google.
Google is a search service. Thats what its for. Even the fact that it
lets people see that you are on a VDSL connection from Qwest isnt a
violation.
Considering what you posted I can understand why you might be mad that it
can be seen by more people than you thought. Sorry about that.
