Affordable dots new interface is broken evidently.
I finally got the status out of ClientTransferProhibited by doing a
global editing and unsetting registrar lock on the domains in
question.
This appears to be a bug in the affordabledots domain control panel
that doesn't affect .com domains. The .org domains i have in their
interface do not have the registrar locking checkbox under the usual
location. The workaround I discovered is that you can set/unset
locking via the global edit function. Either that, or independent of
whatever I've been doing myself, they actually had a tech doing
something on my 2 tickets.
Lame. But not surprising, all things considered.
Hope this helps someone flee the wreckage.
