Default Re: Don't compare the PT Cruiser to a Gremlin

Joe posted a load of irrelevant 0-60 and 1/4 mile stuff.

Joe and to all others who this may concern, the acceleration performance of
a road vehicle is one of the minor criteria to be considered in the
selection process.

While 0 to 60 time and distance is important to some, 60 to 0 is more
important to all. From 1 gallon of fuel to 0 vs miles elapsed is very
important now that gasoline is approaching $2.00 per. MTBF of the vehicle
is important for anyone who intends to drive his car farther than he cares
to walk back. Load capacity and range is important.

Yes, there is much more to think about than how much rubber you can patch
on the roadway. If that is you only consideration, than a '57 Pontiac
would rein supreme to this day.
