Re GoDaddy - I have used their registration services for going on two years.
I have received one (1) unsolicited message from them in that time, and that
was to announce the ICANN decision about locking domains. I don't care if
the owner is a Druid (Reformed or Orthodox), as the service has been
reliable and all of my inquiries have been answered in a professional
manner. Any good organization will give you the option of receiving or not
receiving promotional messages.
